A Day in the Life
Your mission is to create a positive experience for our residents, their parents, and your team. You’ll have considerable autonomy in managing your time to achieve desired results. Your responsibilities will include:
Leasing and Marketing:
- Listing and marketing student housing rental properties
- Conducting open houses, including weekends, for prospective tenants
- Responding promptly to incoming leads
- Exploring creative avenues for generating leads
- Facilitating rental agreements and ensuring timely rent collection and deposit returns
- Providing basic assistance before involving the maintenance team
- Ensuring resident concerns are addressed, working closely with Resident Managers
- Collaborating with your teammates and offering assistance where needed
Additional Factor: Opportunities may arise for you to assist and be rewarded for your contributions in property renovations and portfolio expansion projects.
- A college degree or equivalent working experience
- Exceptional people skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Team player mentality
- Previous leasing and property management experience is not required
- Experience in industries such as sales, hospitality, customer service, and retail is encouraged to apply
Ideally, you are familiar with or can quickly learn:
- Various online platforms like Apartments.com and Zillow
- Google Suite, including Excel
- Social Media Platforms

- Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 base salary commensurate with experience, plus the potential for a generous bonus.
- Benefits: Unlimited paid time off, national holidays, 95% employee coverage for medical, dental, and vision, and a 401k plan with employer matching.
- Hours: Full-time, 40+ hours, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm; flexibility for evenings and weekends is a must. Your focus will be on results rather than facetime.
- Location: Berkeley, CA (94704). You should live within a 40-minute commute of 94704, have daily access to a personal vehicle for work-related tasks, possess a driver’s license, and carry insurance.
