We are looking for a high-energy Listing Coordinator in San Rafael, CA, who is passionate about mid-century modern architecture. In this role, you will apply your strong project management skills to assist Renee Adelmann at Bay Area Modern Real Estate, the #1 Realtor for modern & mid-century modern homes sold in Marin County as well as the #1 Realtor for Homes sold in San Rafael since 2007, with bringing properties to the market.

A Day In the Life 

You enjoy a job where no day is the same and you have plenty of opportunities to flex your problem-solving skills. Details never slip past you, and you consider yourself to be incredibly organized. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with exceptional etiquette and finesse. You have an aesthetic eye and can use it to assist in preparing homes for the market. For example, when you meet the photographer at a property and the home or yard is in disarray, you realize that there is no job too small and tidy up before professional photographs are taken.

Your duties will include and are not limited to:

  • Prepare properties for listings and showings, coordinate and schedule appointments for vendors, obtain estimates, make regular in-person site visits to confirm progress, make necessary trips to local stores (hardware, nursery, other retail) to pick up necessary items, general errands including lockbox/key/sign/brochure pickup and delivery, occasionally show the property as well as prepare for and attend Open Houses, and Brokers Tours
  • Proactively communicate with clients to ensure they are well prepared and informed and liaise with the transaction coordinator and marketing team
  • Assist with database management, client outreach, and appreciation
  • Write marketing copy, upload pictures to the MLS, and order marketing flyers
  • Implement new ideas and marketing strategies
  • Manage invoices and billing and pull comps, permits, and tax records
  • Any other administrative tasks as needed
  • Learn how to be a jack-of-all-trades and step in to support Renee and the company’s success whether it’s in your job description or not

Experience: You have at least 2 years of experience working in project and vendor management. If you have been a listing coordinator on another real estate team, a design assistant, or have worked for a home staging company where your duties included vendor management and project management, it is a plus. 

Software: Ideally, you are familiar with or can easily learn Google Suite/MS Suite, Excel, CRMs, project management software, Dropbox, DocuSign, WinForms, Skyslope, and various communication tools.

The Details

Salary: $75k-$100k commensurate with experience plus an opportunity for a bonus. (A successful candidate in this position can earn $95k-$125k, inclusive of a bonus) 

Benefits: Paid Time Off, 50% contribution of coverage through group health benefits plan, and a generous retirement plan once vested. 

Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs, (9-6) M-F with flexibility and the ability to work on Sundays 2x per month, and in trade, you will receive an alternate day off during the week.

Location: San Rafael, CA (locally Remote or in-office) You live within a 30-minute commute of San Rafael, CA, and you MUST have daily access to a personal vehicle that you can drive for work, valid driver’s license, and carry insurance.
