Applicants seeking a position as a stepping-stone into sales—this is not the job for you.
You will ‘own’ this position, taking a great deal of creative control in maintaining and developing systems that work for you and the team. Your responsibilities will play an important role in clearing away distractions so that your team can focus on generating new business and closing sales.
Create Structure: By streamlining existing systems and overseeing office procedures, you’ll keep things running smoothly. The contact database will be your responsibility; nurture its growth and use it to generate new leads.
Manage Deal Flow: Lead the listing coordination process, provide weekly listing reports, schedule and assist with showings, schedule and attend inspections, meet with vendors at the properties, provide client care, and oversee the contract-to-close process.
Marketing Assistance: You will expand marketing initiatives by working with vendors to create brochures, advertising, and lead generation tools. You will also maintain social media accounts and assist with client appreciation events.
Who you are
You enjoy a job where no day is the same, and you have plenty of opportunities to flex your problem-solving skills. You consider yourself incredibly organized, and you can use your “eye for design” to prepare homes for the market. For example, when you meet the photographer at a property, and the home or yard is in disarray, you tidy up before the photos are taken.
In addition to being hardworking and diligent, you pride yourself on your commitment to teamwork, ethics, and integrity.
- Experience: You have supported another real estate agent or team for at least 2 years.
- License: You hold an active CA real estate license, or you are close to sitting for the CA real estate exam.
- Software: You’re familiar with CRM programs, Google Drive, Project Management Software, DocuSign, and the full gamut of online social websites and lead generation tools.
- Attention to detail: You want things done the right way, according to established procedures; however, you don’t let your need for perfection slow you down.
Salary: 80k-100k commensurate with experience plus an opportunity for a bonus.
Benefits: Vacation and sick pay.
Hours: Full-time, 9 – 6, flexibility in the evenings and weekends required depending on the needs of the business. (Responding to email/calls/texts with acknowledgment as needed)
