We are searching for a sharp and detail-oriented Real Estate Assistant to work from their home for an agent-based in Santa Monica, CA. You belong in real estate; you love the people and the process aspects of being a Real Estate Agent, but hunting for business is not your forte. You have a strong sense of urgency and aren’t the type of person to shy away from a challenge. You’re smart, confident, and you take pride in being able to keep calm under pressure. Your organizational skills and ability to multi-task are unparalleled, and you prefer to “own” your job rather than having someone micromanage your daily tasks.

You will be expected to ‘own’ this position, taking a great deal of creative control in maintaining and developing systems that work for you and the team. On any given day, you’ll be expected to liaise with title, escrow, lenders, and the Transaction Coordinator. From hands-on customer communication to listing coordination and calendar management, your role will shift and change as you move throughout your day. You will be expected to manage the database, all listings, and marketing; overseeing social media and writing new listing copy fall in your jurisdiction.
Your responsibilities will play an important role in clearing away distractions so that your team can focus on generating new business and closing sales. We are looking for a DRIVER and LEADER; someone who takes ownership of their role.
You have one of the two following scenarios…
2 or more years supporting a residential agent or a team, a real estate license is preferred, not required. You must have experience in database management, Google Suite, the full gamut of online social websites, and lead generation tools.
2-3 years of administrative support working for a business leader wearing multiple hats with experience in the mentioned areas above. You’ve dabbled in real estate sales but have come to realize that as much as you love serving clients and getting the deal closed, hunting for new business isn’t your thing.
Salary: Commensurate with experience plus a bonus
Benefits: Vacation and sick pay.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs, flexibility in the evenings weekends required depending on the needs of the business. (Responding to email/calls/texts with acknowledgment as needed)
Location: Santa Monica, CA (Remote) We are open to candidates who are available between 9 am and 6 pm PST. You must have a dedicated workspace free from distractions and high-speed internet.
