We are looking for a growth-minded Sales Manager in Elk Grove, CA, to help lead a team of successful agents at Portfolio Real Estate. In this role, you can expect to help develop and retain existing agents on the team, recruit new agents, set standards, and maintain the fun and collaborative company culture. This diverse and challenging role is best suited for the Driver/Influencer type who can lead a top-producing team that is geared up for expansion.

The Opportunity 

Drive Strategic Plan: You will work hand-in-hand directly with the CEO/Visionary of the company to ensure the company is operating efficiently and optimally for the success of all the sales and administrative staff. Areas of attention include:

  • Create sales reports that outline sales progress and volume to determine future goals
  • Identify new sales opportunities and emerging markets
  • Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business
  • Counsel the sales team, evaluate their performance, and offer suggestions for improvement

Drive Leads: You will manage leads and accountability systems, serving as the liaison with companies that supply leads. This includes optimizing all marketing and branding, tracking results, and reporting back on key metrics. You will analyze metrics to increase efficiency and improve lead generation (marketing) and lead conversion (sales). Areas of attention include:

  • Execute and optimize online strategy and update websites
  • Manage all lead generation systems
  • Oversee weekly marketing of listings

Drive Recruiting: You will actively recruit, onboard, train, and manage the sales team. You will ensure sales agents follow up with leads timely and appropriately by reviewing and reporting on agent accountability metrics from the company CRM. Areas of attention include:

  • Agent pipeline management
  • Lead conversion tracking
  • Forecasting sales revenues
  • Tracking/Reporting on sales effectiveness

To Qualify:

Ideally, you hold a California Real Estate License and have a deep understanding of the contracts and negotiation tactics, and you have managed, mentored, or coached agents. Or, if you have experience leading and developing real estate teams in another state and are willing to obtain your CA license, we’d love to speak with you! 

We are also open to Sales Managers from other industries who are eager to jump into a new industry and have previous experience leading top-performing close-knit sales teams. You must be willing to obtain a California Real Estate License to support your team and have a desire to learn all facets of the real estate industry quickly.

Ideally, you are familiar with or can easily master

  • CRMs
  • Project Management Software
  • Google Suite
  • Various Real Estate Tools and Technology 

The Details 

Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 commensurate with experience plus a performance-driven bonus structure.

Benefits: Vacation, contribution towards health benefits 

Hours: Full-time, 40+ hrs, flexibility on the evenings weekends required depending on the needs of the business. (Responding to email/calls/texts with acknowledgment as needed) This is a results-based position with an opportunity to work remotely and in-office. 

Location: Elk Grove, CA. You should live within a 40-minute commute of Elk Grove, CA, and you MUST have daily access to a personal vehicle that you can drive for work, a valid driver’s license, and carry insurance.
